In order to harness the best performance from kdb+ the q language will always be the optimum way to query your data. But there is also now a way to run SQL queries using KX SQL.
The focus of this course is an introduction to using SQL with the KX technology. You will learn how to run basic SQL queries, what SQL language is supported, how to apply parameters, perform pre parsing and see interoperability in action.
This course contains a practical introduction to the following topics:
Aimed at beginners to KX who wish to use SQL to query their KX data. No prior experience required. Some experience with SQL will be beneficial.
You will receive a KX Certification to state that you have attended and completed the course. This is dependent on completing the end of course Challenge, further details can be found at the end of the course.
